In 1990 and after an already lengthy and successful career as a singer in her own right, she entered into the first series of Granada TV's 'Stars In Their Eyes'. She won the first episode's heat and went on to win the first Grand Final of the series. Her accuracy of her portrayal have made her one of the most famous Shirley Bassey tributes in the world.
